Back for the second year, the Government Technology Awards recognises best practice public sector technology programmes throughout Asia Pacific and the Gulf States!

Last year 214 government, education and healthcare organisations nominated themselves for the awards process, which concluded with a gala awards dinner in Phuket infront of 200 government officials and technology stakeholders.

The program Medellin Digital won the Best Practice award in the e-inclusion category, of the 5th Latin American Award of Digital Cities, organized by AHCIET. The award aims at rewarding good practices of local government, that work to improve the citizen’ quality of life by using the ICTs.
