"Project Outsourced" is an independent film on the phenomenon of IT Outsourcing. The screenplay blends a fictional dramatization of an outsourcing scenario set in Bangalore, with factual commentaries. The commentators comprise Economists, CEOs of companies that outsource, Venture Capital firms, Political Analysts, Social Scientists and other members of academia, labor unions that seek to restrict outsourcing, the employees of IT firms laid off in the United States, and the programmers and call center workers back in India who have replaced them.
